Vintage Denim Quilt
This is one of Owen’s favorite quilts we’ve found, understandably.
A beautiful assortment of worn out blue jeans, given new life. Would look amazing as a blue gradient work of art hung on a wall.
D E T A I L S
How it’s made: hand tied, machine pieced
Weight: medium to heavy weight
Measurements laid flat: 70” x 86”
Shown on a standard Full size bed.
If you’d like to hang your quilt, we recommend our locally made Folkling Quilt Clips!
C O N D I T I O N
The front has a few small holes and discoloration spots, one ring-shaped discoloration spot, and general wear to some denim, presumably from when it used to be jeans. The back shows general discoloration, a several inch long area of seam separation between backing panels, a few small holes and worn spots that only go through the backing layer, and an area of seam separation between the front and back of the quilt.
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.
