1900s Blue Single Irish Chain Quilt
Beautiful hand quilted at 9SPI, this Nine Patch Irish Chain quilt is an incredible representation of this pattern. With rarely seen original makers marks, this blue beauty is a stunner and highly usable and ready for any bed in your home.
From a prominent Pennsylvania collection.
D E T A I L S
How it’s made: machine pieced and hand quilted
Weight: very light
Measurements laid flat: 79” x 79”
Shown on a standard Full size bed.
C O N D I T I O N
Almost perfect condition! Only a few faint spots of discoloration so the white background isn’t as crisp white as it was originally.
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.
⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.
