A romantic airy dream of a dress. Circa early 1900s, this black calico dress is captivatingly sheer and delicate yet very wearable. Flows and floats beautifully when you walk. A perfect lighter dress for the summer months. The sweet black covered buttons (decorative, not functional) are one of our favorite little extra details on this beauty.
A rare slightly larger size than most dresses of this era we come across.

Some wear to cuffs as well as mending along the hook and eye closure seams and right armpit seam, faint discoloration to white mesh lace, and wear to black lace at the center bodice. Fraying to sailor cotton collar, but perhaps more so an unfinished seam or had previous trim that was removed. Overall a very wearable and lovely piece!
