19th Century Wool Square In A Square Quilt
A really striking quilt with large piecework, this one definitely is reminiscent of Amish quilts we’ve collected, though the original origins and make as such cannot be pin pointed.
Nevertheless, a striking modernist feel that is absolutely meant to be taken in as a whole hung on a wall.
D E T A I L S
How it’s made: hand quilted, hand pieced
Weight: heavy
Measurements laid flat: 65” x 80”
Shown on a standard Full size bed.
If you’d like to hang your quilt, we recommend our locally made Folkling Quilt Clips!

A few lighter discoloration spots, a few brown discoloration spots, one approximately 2” x 2” L-shaped tear though top layer, and a small spot of loose stitching between blocks. Yellowing and wear to edges, plus fading and a few holes to backing.
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.
⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.
