1940s Sawtooth Star Quilt

$158.00
sold out

This sweet quilt is a great one for getting cozy on a slow Sunday morning reading on the couch.
In one of our favorite color ways, the piecework was created with seemingly whatever blue scraps of fabric the maker had. A very soft and lovable quilt.

How it’s made: hand quilted, hand pieced

Weight: Light

Measurements laid flat: 70” x 65”

Shown on a standard Full size bed.
If you’d like to hang your quilt, we recommend our locally made Folkling Quilt Clips!

C O N D I T I O N
General fabric wear throughout, with a few areas near the edge binding where you can see through the quilt. A few yellow discolorations and one dark spot that goes through the front to the back. Mends to some of the worn blue fabrics.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.

⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.

⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.
