1940s Double Sided Nine Patch Quilt

$258.00
sold out

A great modernist quilt, with rust, olive, daffodil and navy wools.

As it just so happens… we forgot to photograph the other side of this quilt! So here you see the one side, but if you need to see the other side before purchasing— shoot us a message. ;) It’s very similar in color way and piecework, with just a different orientation of the nine patch blocks.

How it’s made: hand tied, hand pieced

Weight: heavy

Measurements laid flat: 63” x 73”

Shown on a standard Full size bed.
If you’d like to hang your quilt, we recommend our locally made Folkling Quilt Clips!

C O N D I T I O N

Front has small holes and seam separations scattered throughout, plus a missing tie. Back has more fabric wear and loss, with a few tears and discolorations as well.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.

⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.

⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.
