1940s Twin Lone Star Quilts
What is better than a lone star quilt? Two lone star quilts!
This is only the third pair of matching handmade quilts we have ever come across. A rare treasure, especially for those of you who have been looking for a matching set!
This striking rose red pair will look beautiful together in any room you choose to place them in.
They do vary in size a bit— so double check the measurements!
D E T A I L S
How it’s made: hand pieced and hand quilted
Weight: Medium
Measurements laid flat for each quilt: 68” x 85” and 78” x 72”
Shown on a standard twin size bed.
C O N D I T I O N
Fading and irregular edges to both. No major holes or wear that go all the way through. A couple of stains and discoloration spots along with wear to the edges. In overall lovely and very useable condition.
Most importantly: Please do not cut these quilts for a coat or other project my friends. They are too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of themselves. It would be tragic to cut up such beautiful pieces of textile history.
⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.
⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.
