1910s Shoofly Quilt

$320.00
sold out

This sweet 1910s-1930s Shoofly patterned quilt is known by many names, but this one is our favorite. Very lovely calicos make up this quilt which is also hand tied vs. quilted. Cherry red sashes between the blocks and an off white cotton backing.

How it’s made: machine pieced and hand tied

Weight: light-medium

Measurements laid flat: 71” x 72”

Shown on a standard Full size bed.

C O N D I T I O N

Slight wear on the binding and some edges with a few small spots of dark discoloration.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project my friends. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.

⋒  This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.
