1900s Tulip Appliqué Quilt
A quilt found in Virginia a few years ago, the muted tones and quirky block placement are what really captured our hearts with this one. It’s been in our personal collection for some time, but since the personal collection is starting to get… out of hand shall we say, we thought it was time to pass a few favorites on to homes where they will be loved and used more regularly.
The carmine cotton binding on this quilt is especially lovely. Also the feedback backing, though the print has long since faded away.
D E T A I L S
How it’s made: Hand quilted, hand pieced, hand appliquéd
Weight: Medium
Measurements laid flat: 78” x 81”
Shown on a standard Full size bed.
If you’d like to hang your quilt, we recommend our locally made Folkling Quilt Clips!

Has fading over all, as well as discoloration throughout, but it is a very sound and sturdy quilt. A few small holes but nothing significant and you have to hunt for them. Soft and usable.
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.
⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.
