1900s Nine Patch On Point Quilt
This quilt is among some of the first quilts we found in our early years of quilt selling.
It has been in the collection for a long time now, but it is one that truly deserves to be hung on a wall on a regular basis. It has an understated simplicity and dynamic punch with the turkey red and sunshine colored cottons alternating so beautifully in the piecework. We have never seen another one like it, especially in color combination. That alone makes it really special. It reads like a modern pop-art piece.

C O N D I T I O N
This quilt is in as-found condition. It has tears around the edges, holes and discoloration and wear throughout. Though the body is sturdy, due to this wear, it is one that is best used for display vs. every day use so as to preserve it.
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
