1890s Stifel Scrap Quilt

$650.00
sold out

One of the best scrap quilts we’ve come across, with beautiful garment remnants throughout, including the ever covetable indigo blue Stifel fabric.
A truly beautiful workwear centric quilt that would look just as striking hung on a wall as art as it would adorning a bed.

D E T A I L S

How it’s made: hand pieced and hand quilted

Weight: medium

Measurements laid flat: 65” x 78”

Shown on a standard Full size bed.

C O N D I T I O N
Faint yellowing to some of the lighter fabrics, some seams coming undone (could easily be mended), a handful of holes and one that goes all the way through. Some slight fraying to the edge binding in a couple spots and fading on the back from previous storage. Overall in excellent condition.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project my friends. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.

⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.

⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.
