1880s Drunkards Path Quilt
One of our personal favorites in this latest collection, the beautiful indigo cotton has gorgeous fades throughout, creating a mesmerizing albeit subtle gradient. The fan quilting on some of the individual blue piecework is really special as well.
Thin cotton batting and a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with and applied white fabric binding.
D E T A I L S
How it’s made: hand pieced and hand quilted
Weight: Light
Measurements laid flat: 77 by 76 inches
Shown on a standard Full size bed.
If you’d like to hang your quilt, we recommend our locally made Folkling Quilt Clips!
C O N D I T I O N
Has overall edge wear, fading, and spots. But very soft and usable!
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.
⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.
