1880s Cheddar Tulip Appliqué Quilt

$298.00
sold out

The cheddar on this one! This is truly for a flower lover.
The neutral cotton leaves and stems of the appliqué pieces was once green, but we love the neutrality it brings to this floral quilt.
This quilt was likely once larger but was sized down at some point in its life, interrupting the over all pattern. Likely due to edge wear.
Nevertheless, it still has so much life left to live and the quilting alone (did you notice the hearts??) is to die for.

D E T A I L S

How it’s made: hand quilted, hand pieced

Weight: light medium

Measurements laid flat: 61” x 79”

Shown on a standard Full size bed.
If you’d like to hang your quilt, we recommend our locally made Folkling Quilt Clips!

C O N D I T I O N

Small, faint brown discoloration spots scattered throughout, a couple of tiny holes through just the quilt top, plus one tear and small area of wear to the binding.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.

⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.

⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.
