1880s Tree of Life Appliqué Quilt
This 1880s Tree of Life appliqué quilt is incredibly intricate with its hand quilting details and exquisite appliquéd flower pattern is one for the books.
The binding, the pink part of the larger appliquéd flowers and a couple of green leaves have since been replaced and are not as old as the original quilt. A lovely testament to the former owner maintaining this quilt’s usefulness and beauty throughout the decades.
It’s of the larger size and would suit a queen size bed nicely.

Slight wear on the green fabric which is to be expected of the age of this quilt. Otherwise in excellent condition.
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project my friends. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
