D E T A I L S
How it’s made: hand appliquéd and hand quilted

Some fading to the colored fabrics, mostly due to original dye methods used. The pink fabric is starting to wear away on some of the flowers but no holes or tears that go all the way through the quilt. Some fraying to edge binding as well and slight discoloration on the back due to previous storage methods.
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.
