1870s Birds In Flight Quilt

$350.00
sold out

A beautiful rendition of this pattern with a variety of calicos we’ve never come across before. Some predating the 1870s.
A quilt with a wonderful graphic pop that would look good anywhere in your home whether folded at the end of a bed or draped across your favorite chair in the living room or hung in the hallway to greet your visitors.

D E T A I L S

How it’s made: hand quilted and hand pieced

Weight: light summer weight

Measurements laid flat: 75” x 92”

Shown on a standard Full size bed.

C O N D I T I O N
In really wonderful condition with only a handful of flaws to note. One penny size hole that goes all the way through and three spots of exposed batting on the front due to one particular older fabric having some wear due to its dye process. One or two spots of exposed batting on the back and slight discolorations.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.

⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.

⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.
