1870s Tick Tack Toe Quilt
Another of our favorites from this collection and the first time we have come across this pattern. Amaranth red cotton with soft light creamy white. Cotton seeds in the batting with lovely intricate quilting in the center blocks. A sweet size for layering or taking with you on your next adventure.

How it’s made: hand quilted and machine pieced
Weight: light summer weight
Measurements laid flat: 65” x 76”
Shown on a standard Full size bed.

Slight discoloration on the folded edges due to storage and some slight fading overall. Very slight wear to edges and overall in beautiful and useable condition for its age. One very small hole that goes all the way through and one or two small spots of discoloration on the back.
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.
