Circa 1830s-1850s this quilt has some of the loveliest quilting and most charming pink calico we’ve come across.
While this quilt has certainly seen some life, it is still a beautiful work of art. A much older quilt than we typically have the privilege of coming across.
Would look lovely hung on a wall or used as part of a tablescape or as the backdrop for a photo session.

How it’s made: hand quilted, hand pieced

Toning throughout, with scattered brown discolorations and consistent spots of fabric loss throughout pink calico fabric.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.

⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.

⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.
