Do you ship internationally or offer combined shipping?

Absolutely! Just contact us via Instagram @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote, or through our contact page here on the website. To speed up your quote, please provide the full name and address of the place to ship items as well as the specific items you’re interested in purchasing.

We are not responsible for customs taxes incurred from your order, nor are we responsible for any confiscation or held items by a country’s customs department.
It is the responsibility of the buyer to investigate any issues related to customs.


Can you mark my item as a gift on the customs form?

No, we are unable to do to waive customs fees by doing this as it makes our shop liable and puts your packages safety at risk during transit.


When can I expect my order?

All orders, unless otherwise specified in the listing, will ship within one week of the purchase date.


Do you offer returns or exchanges?

All sales are final.
We want you to love your Folkling finds, so please look through the photos and read the description carefully and feel free to ask any and all questions before purchasing, as we do not accept returns.

When can I expect to hear from you in regards to a question I have?

Just because you see us posting on Instagram, doesn’t mean we are free to answer questions... ;)
We get a lot of messages every single day via multiple outlets and it’s a lot to keep up with in addition to everything else we do here, so please be patient in waiting to hear back from us.
We typically answer messages within 48-72 hours of receiving them.


Where do you find all of these things that you sell?

From people like you! Read below if you want to know more about that.
But also, from all over the country/world. We are avid travelers and are always keeping our eyes out for unique one of a kind pieces. We often make house calls and are frequently the folks people contact before they have estate sales.


Do you buy things from people?

We buy individual items, as well as entire collections.

We are typically interested in pieces from the 1940s and earlier, though we often make exceptions for especially unique, handmade, folk art, or rare pieces. It never hurts to ask, so feel free to send photos via email on our sell page.


Can you appraise my item/give me information about it?

We do not give appraisals or advice in regards to valuing or selling items. However if you have something you are interested in selling us, head over here.
